Portland Community Regeneration Ltd is a community regeneration company based in the North East of England. Our business model is unique. It combines a variety of different activities - from consultancy and research through to the letting of private residential property.

Our mission is to work with disadvantaged communities to help them develop their own bespoke solutions to the problems that they believe they face. We often do this by working in partnership with the public and voluntary sectors. We understand the key contribution that good public intervention and voluntary sector support can make.

But we also know that sustainable community regeneration requires strong private sector involvement. This is what we provide. We pick and choose our projects carefully. We don’t have a “job and finish” approach. In fact we think that that approach is the very reason why so much community regeneration has failed in the past.

Our business model centres on taking REAL stakes in REAL communities. This keeps us honest; if we get it wrong it hurts us too. So if you are looking for a private sector partner to help you deliver real and lasting community regeneration, we’d love to hear from you!

LATEST NEWS: We’re proud to report that we’ve been commissioned to work with the North Hirst Tenant and Resident Group to deliver a programme of research-led community engagement! The project commences in May. More news soon!
